Thomas Nau completed his medical degree at the University of Graz and continued his specialist training at the University Clinic for Trauma Surgery, which he completed in 2003. Since 2013, he has been working at LBI Trauma as Associate Professor and Clinical Co-Head of the Bone Regeneration Group.
Thomas’ research interests include ligament and bone regeneration and post-traumatic osteoarthritis research. His research has been published in prestigious medical journals, including the American Journal of Sports Medicine. Thomas also serves as a reviewer for numerous academic peer-reviewed journals.
With 30 years of clinical experience, Thomas has gained extensive international experience, including fellowships in Melbourne, Cape Town and Montréal. In addition to his research work at LBI Trauma, he is a full-time surgeon and specialist in Sports Medicine and Trauma at King’s College Hospital in Dubai.
