Lab Technician (m/f/d) for 40 h/week (parental leave cover)
The Laboratory for the Molecular Basis of Organ Failure and Regeneration, led by Dr. Adelheid Weidinger, is seeking to hire a Lab Technician (40 hours/week) in the field of biological/biochemical analysis.
Main tasks
- Performing of in vitro experiments
- Analysis of biological samples (e.g. tissue, cells, blood)
- Graphical depiction and analysis of data
- Participation in the general technical tasks/activities of the lab
- Participation in lab management
Your Profile
- Basic experience in experimental biology
- Experience with laboratory management and organization
- A completed Bachelor’s degree in a biology/life sciences related field is an asset
- Proficient oral and written communication skills in German and English
Terms of employment
We offer a 1-year contract, including a one-month probation period, starting January 1st, 2026. The gross monthly salary offered is EUR 2 783,- for 40 hours per week (14x per year). Five weeks of paid vacation time are included.
