Latest insights into neuroregeneration – David Hercher interviewed by KML Vision

Axons play an important role in neuroregeneration – but related key figures such as axonal growth, providing significant insights into the success of regeneration, can often only be determined with a great deal of time and effort. Therefore, David Hercher, head of neuroregeneration research at LBI Trauma, teamed up with KML Vision in search of a rapid, standardized method for quantifying axons.

They integrated a new application module into the IKOSA Prisma platform. With this, researchers are able to analyze axons with significant time savings. (Read more)

David Hercher has now been invited to an interview by KML Vision. He talks about the functional mechanisms of our nervous system, the cellular processes after nerve injuries and how research wants to promote the regeneration of axons. In addition, he gives insights into his experimental methods and guides step by step through the quantification of axons using IKOSA Prisma.

The entire interview can be read on the KML Vision website: The latest insights into axon regeneration research
