4th WiSe-Meeting brings together experts from Austria and Hungary
The 4th WiSe-Meeting took place June 19-21 under the headline “Recent progress in Intensive Care Medicine”. Leading experts met at the AUVA trauma center to present their newest findings on sepsis and systemic inflammation, circulatory shock, neurodegeneration and more.
The event was organized by LBI Trauma, Semmelweis University Budapest, Albert Szent-Györgyi Medical University Szeged and Medical University Innsbruck. The guests were welcomed by their hosts, LBI Trauma directors Johannes Grillari and Thomas Hausner, as well as AUVA president Alexander Bernart and Heinz Redl, coordinator of the Austrian Cluster for Tissue Regeneration.
After the talks, a joint dinner gave room for lively discussions and inspiration for further collaborations.
