Martin Ponschab

Martin Ponschab currently holds the position of senior physician at the Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine at the AUVA Accident Hospital Linz. He also works at the LBI Trauma as a clinical advisor to the research group in the field of translational anaesthesiology and pain medicine.

In addition to his clinical and scientific work, Martin is also a board member of the Austrian Society for Anaesthesiology, Resuscitation and Intensive Care Medicine (ÖGARI). As an umbrella organisation, ÖGARI aims to promote anaesthesiology in Austria and to ensure improved medical care for the general public as a specialist representation/association for specialists in anaesthesia and intensive care medicine.
