Naimeh Hashemi

MSc, PhD

Naimeh Hashemi completed her PhD in Nanobiotechnology at Tarbiat Modares University (Iran) with a dissertation on the differentiation of bone marrow mesenchymal cells into osteoblasts in the presence of nanostructured composite hydroxyapatite microspheres. Her research interests focus on the synthesis and development of nanomaterials, particularly metal nanoclusters for biomedical applications. Her previous research focus was on the effect of iron nanoclusters on the morphology of human amniotic cells and the function of mitochondria. She is currently involved in current projects of the Sepsis-Trauma-Shock Group, supporting the team with her expertise in Luminex and FACS analyses.
