Harriet Schober

BSc

Harriet Schober is a member of the Bone Bioengineering and Regeneration group at LBI and currently pursues her Master’s degree at BOKU (University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences) Vienna.

At the moment, Harriet is working on a method that aims to decellularise the extracellular matrix (ECM) for the purpose of bone regeneration. If this is fruitful, the ECM can subsequently be colonised with cells and a bone replacement product could be created. This could not only fill cracks within the bone but would also be able to restore bone function.
