Fatemeh, a native of Iran, currently holds a postdoc position at the LBI Trauma. She graduated from Shiraz University (Iran) with a degree in Cellular Molecular Science and received her PhD in Molecular Medicine at the Shahid Sadoughi University of Medical Sciences (Iran) in 2020.

She is interested in interdisciplinary fields and her previous research experience is in genotoxicity, chromosome aberrations, and inflammatory bowel disease. Fatemeh currently works on the joint Austrian-Polish project that tests hASC therapy in pre-clinical chronic sepsis, with a focus on the prevention of the development of PICS (Post-Intensive Care Syndrome).
