STERBEN FÜR ANFÄNGER – in cinemas from 6 November 2026 | LBI Trauma is giving away free tickets
Confronted with a diagnosis of “terminal cancer,” Kurt Langbein embarks on a personal and global exploration of death – and discovers a surprising truth between intensive care units, palliative medicine, spiritual traditions and near-death experiences: death can be learned. LBI Trauma Director Johannes Grillari also appears in the film. His perspective adds to the exploration of the biological foundations of ageing and life, connecting the scientific dimension with the major questions raised by the film.
