Conny Schneider invites you to join the MuSkITYR Symposium
On 2-3 November 2026, the international MuSkITYR community will gather in Hamburg for the VIII MuSkITYR Symposium. The event brings together early-career researchers and established scientists in musculoskeletal research for two days of scientific exchange and networking.
A MuSkITYR from the ranks of the LBI Trauma is playing a leading role in the event: Scientist and science communicator Conny Schneider has been involved in the organization of the symposium since 2021, serves on the board of the MuSkITYRs and will take over the board as “MuSkITYR Speaker” in 2026.
The program features keynote lectures by Tim Rolvien and Sara Checa, who bring clinical and engineering perspectives on musculoskeletal diseases to the symposium. In addition, mentoring sessions will cover topics such as scientific writing, science communication, and career development.
Abstracts can be submitted until 1 September, while registration is open until 14 September. Participation is warmly encouraged even without submitting an abstract. Registration includes accommodation at the Hamburg Youth Hostel as well as meals throughout the symposium.
We look forward to a strong representation from the LBI Trauma community and warmly invite everyone interested in musculoskeletal research to join us in Hamburg.
