In this role, Marcin will take on a key position in shaping the scientific programme of one of the most important international conferences in the field of shock and sepsis research. Notably, he is the first ever Program Chair from outside North America.

The Shock Society is a leading scientific organisation dedicated to the study of shock, sepsis, and related critical conditions. Its annual congress is known as a central platform for the exchange of the latest findings and approaches in the field.

Marcin Osuchowski brings extensive experience to this new role: he previously served as President of the European Shock Society and, in this capacity, hosted the Society’s 20th congress in Vienna.
